The swab detects the presence of viral proteins in coronavirus nasal samples. The test is sold free of VAT pursuant to Article 124 of the Relaunch Decree of 19 / May / 2020

Description

• Lateral flow immunochromatographic test which adopted the double color system.
• For the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen from a nasopharyngeal swab sample.
• The test contains a colloidal gold conjugated swab and a membrane strip pre-coated with antibodies specific to the SARS-CoV-2 antigen on the test lines (T).
• A visible black band appears on the test lines (T) (antibody-antigen-gold antibody conjugate complex)
• (antigen-antibody complex: each complex will consist of antigen that binds to the monoclonal antibody conjugated to colloidal gold)
• Whether SARS-CoV-2 antigen is present in the sample.
• The control line (C) shows that the test was successful.
• Evaluated with panel sample (n = 75) by PCR
• Sensitivity: 90.2%
• Specificity: 100%
