This is a rapid test for the qualitative detection of IgG and IgM antibodies for 2019-nCoV on human whole blood samples.

The 2019 nCov IgG / IgM assay is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay.
Lateral Flow Devices (LFDs) are rapid immunochromatographic test strips.
As with other immunoassays, the method is based on an antigen-antibody reaction. To perform the analysis, the strip is immersed in the liquid sample. If analyte is present in the sample, a colored band appears on the strip within 5 minutes. This visual assessment allows for a qualitative analysis. In addition to the rapidity of results and ease of use, the advantages of lateral flow tests lie in their low cost and high validity.
